The Salsa Damania team consist of Damo and Ania Welch-Bobko and Izabella Bobko.

Salsa Damania were formed by Damo Welch-Bobko in 2005.   Damo felt he could offer a fantastic salsa experience enhanced by his exciting way of teaching.   After meeting and marrying his wife Ania, the couple now teach, perform and compete together around Europe.

Please see 'Our Team' for specific information on the teachers and personnel behind Salsa Damania.  We are the leading Salsa Teachers/Promoters in Somerset.   We have featured on several occasions in the local press being acknowledged for our dedication to salsa in the region.

We currently run regular classes in Cheddar (Monday), Wells City (Wednesday), Cheddar (Thursday) and Glastonbury (Friday).   Classes are run on a weekly basis, either as part of a course or on a 'drop-in' basis.   Beginners classes are available at all our venues, followed by improver and intermediate classes.

We teach LA style salsa on 1, Bachata, Mambo, Rueda , Merengue , Cuban, Cula and Salsa Hip-Hop.   We prefer to teach salsa on 1 (cross body) due to the transition, making it easier for the students to have the confidence to get up and dance salsa or to dance salsa at your wedding!

We specialize in Funky salsa or Hip-Hop salsa as it gives a different style of salsa, whilst still teaching the standard salsa techniques.

You can also book us for private tuition for any of the above Latin dances.   Party nights are a great way to practice your dancing with other people whilst dancing to great music.    Party nights also attract visiting guest teachers and great dancers coming from all over the region and the UK.
